I know how you feel, I have a black car too. The bugs are called Water Boatmen. Theyβre attracted to dark cars because the reflection the color gives off is similar to water. People believe the valley is only experiencing the bugs now because there are less fish to eat them in the Salton Sea. I hope this helps!
