Oh my gosh! I make savory oatmeal all the time. I absolutely love it! So much better than the sweet stuff! My recipes vary, depending on what I have in the house. I have never added chicken or squash, a must try for sure! My go to is usually bacon or sausage (or no meat), onion, mushrooms, spices, oatmeal, beef broth, add spinach at the end with a runny egg on top. Muah! Delicious!

I wanna like oatmeal but i've always been bugged by the texture so i've used oats otherwise but i wanted more savory options. I' m gonna try these because I really don't want ot give up on oats (it's cheap, nutritious and i have a ton from when my mom closed her shop)
